Helicon at Trinity Wall Street — Concerts at One: Sunken Cathedral
Thursday, 27 April 2017 @ 1:00pm
Trinity Wall Street presents Helicon
Concerts at One: Sunken Cathedral
St. Paul’s Chapel (Broadway and Fulton Street), Free admission
As part of Trinity Wall Street’s Sunken Cathedral series, Helicon explores sacred imagery of water in the poignant music of late 17th-century Germany; from tears of sorrow and thirst quenching springs, to purifying streams and the source of truth. It is from the depths of this musical wellspring that the genius of Bach would surge forth.
