Symposium 112 - The Grand Concerto

Sunday, 7 December 2014 @ 4:59pm

The Grand Concerto

At once manifesting the opposing definitions of harmony and dispute, the concerto grosso evolved into a kaleidoscopic conversation among multiple soloists.  From the models of Corelli and Vivaldi to echoes from beyond the Alps and across the channel this program explores the grand instrumental dialogues of the high Baroque.
